- Support the coordination of work and information among IDLO Offices or within the designated programme (Africa);
- Provide support in the organization of missions and meetings;
- Provide support in the preparation of donor reports – including editing, proof-reading and formatting;
- Undertake research and analysis of donor priorities and assist with project development planning and contracting;
- Follow-up on official approvals to ensure timely processing of documents;
- Support the Africa team on procurement, periodic reporting and other key processes;
- Provide support in the development of internal briefs, internal monthly progress reports and other documents;
- Assist with the translation of internal documents;
- Assist with day-to-day administrative and logistical duties;
- Working with programme tools with the team responsible for designing and implementing rule of law projects in the region;
- Conducting research into legal, political and other aspects of the current situation in relevant countries/regions,
- Use innovative legal resources to undertake research into trends and best practices in Rule of Law and related topics in relevant region;
- In the framework of Results-Based Management assist with monitoring and evaluation tools for the projects;
- Under the guidance of a dynamic international team assist with other day-to-day administrative duties, such as organization of the events, meetings, seminars and other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- A degree in Law, International Relations, Development Studies, Political Science or other relevant field.
- Relevant work experience in programme or project management, research or broad development work.
Languages:
- Fluent oral and professional writing skills in English a must.

IDLO provides all full-time interns with a monthly stipend of €600. Internships are offered for 3 months and are renewable up to a maximum of 6 months. Full-time placements (5 days a week) are strongly preferred. Applicants available for less than 5 days a week will not be considered.
